sounds more like an issue with the pedal or the booster than the fluid, though the noise when you lift off seems normal. sounds a little off when you press it down. maybe spray some silicone lube on the pedal joint?

Just to close the loop on this, silicone lube actually did help a bit with the pedal feel noise and feel. Appreciate the suggestion!

I've had this error for ages, could never figure it out.
Sorry for the ping but now I'm invested, hopefully someone knows.

does your car start in Neutral? Or only in Park? I read somewhere that it's a relation of the car thinking it had a startup attempt with the gear selector in something other than "P"- Not sure how true that is.

Started in P this morning, then 15 min down the road that code came up while still driving in D

EQT TCU tuned so I guess I could reach out to them

Started in P this morning, then 15 min down the road that code came up while still driving in D

Has to be something with the tune and a brief interruption in it knowing what gear or possibly even a shifting mode, and your ECU picked up on it, triggering the code. As Jersey said, let your tuner know, that would be my next step.

Dumb question: Does my Mk7 have any sort of launch control? I am Stage 1 tuned but I don't think it has any.. just hit the gas to go at launch. If I hold the brake and press the throttle it just tries to power through it.

LC is:
1) DSG (if 6MT no LC)
2) S mode on transmission
3) left Foot firmly on brake
4) right foot fully depressing throttle, holding the kickdown switch.
5) let go of brake

I think traction control off is a requirement as well. At least that's what I recall the owners manual for my gti says. I don't think I've tried it any other way.

Lc in a manual is just slipping the clutch at higher revs
