i kept going back and forth between swapping my 09 for an 08 R32, and frankly it's not worth the $$. you end up losing a lot no matter how you slice it, so really make sure you go into the financial details before you make any decisions.

my parents have an 04 tsx as well. only issues that have come up have been a squeaky fan and failed automatic door lock on the driver door. it's up ~120k miles now with just regular maintenance besides those two issues.

Yeah I still have that same feeling about Hyundai but would recommend to others. Acura rdx if not tiguan? My sister has one with two kids, both still in child seats.
