1.5 TSI 150HP (DPCA) turbo lag from low revs

I just bought Golf MK7.5 1.5 TSI 150HP (DPCA) and I noticed that there is a lag when adding revs from ~1000-1500 rpm. It takes around 1-2 seconds to respond and then goes to 3500-4000 rpm.
Is this normal? I saw few reviews and they said that there's no turbo lag there with 1.5 TSI. Could be DSG?

DPCA's had various ECU updates, maybe worth to start with ECU update? Dealer (preferably) or tuning shop (I don't know if early MG1 ECU's are flashable now) is best place for update ECU


Mileage? What maintenance has been done recently?

I need to lookup for the new updates.
Mileage is now 96k km/60k miles. For maintenance: oil change, DSG oil change, standard stuff. Nothing major.
