Hah yes that's indeed sad but true.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that Audi of America brought the A5 Sportback to the US market.
No one has ever said, I want an A7, but only slightly smaller.
Meanwhile Europe has all the RS cars and hatches and wagons.

I will say though there was an RS5 Sportback at cars and coffee the other weekend and I did quite like it.

The Sportbacks sell far more than the coupes here. I had to scramble to find an S5 in coupe form, while there were quite a few Sportbacks. And finding a plain A5 coupe is it seems even harder. And yes, the RS5 is very nice. For what it costs, it damn well better be!
