really wish i didnt see this thread. thought i was living large with my 37" in my apartment with no a roommate. usually the only letters i see before my name are "FU". looks like its back to the drawing board for me.

I built the screen for $150

What did you make the screen from?

I'm using an old 720p sony I've had for a few years (still looks pretty decent, on 2nd bulb).

Made my screen from one peice of 8x4 white panel (cheap stuff) hung sideways, then sanded and painted. Then a border made from some joanne fabrics vinyl wrapped around couple inch wood straps.
