Airtran U program - anyone ever used it?

It's a standby program that Airtran has for college kids (ages 18-22) so that we don't go broke while trying to fly places. I've never used it before, but since flights to the west coast are so damn expensive, I'm gonna give it a shot next week.

I'm going from Boston to Baltimore, and then Baltimore to Seattle. The coming back the same way.

I'm, admittedly, a bit nervous about getting stranded in Baltimore in one direction or the other, but considering round trip flights to Seattle are, at cheapest $550+, I think ~$300 on this program is better. And If I do not get on a flight that I was on standby for, my money is refunded, so I can't really lose.

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the program or knows someone who has?

And so long as I'm here, if anyone on here is in the airline industry and can get me a confirmed round trip from Boston to Seattle at a cheap price, I'd appreciate that even more haha
