Android Auto Wireless Help!

I wonder if anyone can help me?
I have recently received the software update 91CU to my car so it's now at software version: 1899

Is it possible android auto will now work wirelessly with this update. I have tried this with my phone but I just can't get it to work without plugging the cable in.

I have a Google Pixel 2 XL Android version 11 it says on the android auto app vehicle connected wirelessly but can't get it to work on the infotainment screen.

Any help would be appreciated

Check AA setting to activate wireless mode. Maybe it's off.

Thanks I have checked this on my phone and it's turned on.

Try this then:

1. Clear AA data on your phone.​

2. Delete your phone from the car's Bluetooth / System.​

3. Connect your phone via cable for the first time.​

4. Check again AA settings to see if wireless is activated.​

After all this disconnect your cable from your phone. Go to "App Connect" in your car, there you should see your phone and under it the AA logo. Press the logo and it should work.

Sidenote: Doing a quick google search on your phone's model seems to show up a lot of results of issues with AA. Maybe your phone it's not fully compatible.
