It's an attempt to do a drive-by malware download that exploits a buffer overflow. The attacker is hoping that your browser (or a targeted plugin like Flash, Acrobat etc.) will interpret the data as program code to execute.

The fact that it looks like nonsense is due to the the character set/encoding being used.
