Anyone using 235 width tires on Laguna/Watkins glen rims (18x7.5) ?

I know 225 is the recommended size for 18x7.5 wheels, but I want to try 235 tires for help putting down K04 power. Is it safe?

for 235 i think the minimum wheel width is 8", probably better off sticking to 225 on 7.5" but find a better compound for traction

Yeah I figured, alright I'll stick with 225. Probably end up getting some PS4s's for spirited daily driving and occasional autox

Agreed. Or best thing would be to grab a bigger wheel and go 245. I'm running 245/40/18 45 888Rs on my track wheels 18x8 45 offset. No rubbing when I tested them on the street, hoping that holds true on the track.
