As someone who doesn't own a house, or more importantly a garage, I won't be getting an electric car in this lifetime.
Don't think plugging in a 400' extension cord every night is gonna cut it.

This will be an issue for many car owners / users the world over.
I think that EV charging posts are being installed in some parts of the UK along the sidewalk. It’s also likely that street lamps will incorporate EV charge points too. This won’t happen overnight though, and the rollout of an effective infrastructure to support EV charging will take many years and many ££££’s.
