Best hockey game on 360

Any ice hockey fans out there?

I'm still playing NHL2K7 which is a classic but I'm thinking of an upgrade soon. I hear great things about both NHL2K9 and NHL09. I have always preferred the 2K series over the EA games but does anyone have any feedback on either one?

I haven't actually taken time to try them both but they are both available as demos in the game store.

NHL 09. Period.


Play the demos for yourself and you'll see this difference this year. The AI is so much better, the online Club Mode is amazing if you have good teammates on your squad, and the Be A Pro has great depth to it. You won't be wasting your money if you go with EA this year.

I've never been a fan of the 2K series.

I picked up NHL '09 last week and can't seem to put it down. The Be A Pro mode is pretty sweet. If you're finding it too easy, just step up the skill level for a whole new challenge. And the one handed stick moves are sweet.

I have NHL'07 and kind of wanted to play a new version.
I DLed the NHL'09 demo and played about 5 games. Couldn't score but a single goal so I gave up and deleted it.
