Black or White

Hokietuner

I have 12 hours exactly to decide what color I want, I'm torn

Here's what I'm thinking:

White +'s:
-Doesn't get hot
-Love how it makes the nose stand out

White -'s:
-Hate the black on the white piece, would paint the bumper and skirts
-Shows dirt, so does black
-Common

Black +'s:
-Good sporty color

Black -'s:
-Shows Dirt easy
-Hot in the summer

Read a bunch of the posts bout color choices, What do they mean by paint swirls?

either way i'll be happy, but I want to make the right choice. Anyone have one, and wish they got the other?

Opions on both?

Thanks

It seems like you are already set on white but are looking for excuses just because there are a couple of black pieces. You can get them sanded and painted by a reputable shop and it'll look OEM. So there you go.

IMO the white looks better than the black because the front grill/bumper does stand out.

I fully agree with Bouston! The grille is really what makes the GTI stand out besides other MkVs and on a black GTI the grille gets kinda lost...whereas on white it stands out and says *FAST voice* "get the hell out of my way puny one!...muahahahahha" *FAST voice*

white, white, white, white, white, white, white, white, white, white, white, white, white, white, you won't regret it. I regretted black both times. Looks great for about a few months.

When you wax or polish the car, if not done properly, it will leave fine scratches in the paint which will look like swirls. Scratchs, dings, and other imperfections stand out more on darker colored cars than they do lighter colored cars. I believe silver is supposed to be the best at hiding dirt & imperfections.

Go with white, you'll be happier that it's lower maintenance.

White makes the car look like a washer, dryer, freezer, fridge, or whatever your favorite bland domestic appliance is...

Hey, hey! Lay off the Maytag references. They also make them in black, orange, and several others. As a matter of fact, black is picking up popularity. Maybe I have a freezer fetish.

If you like a clean car get black.
if you are lazy and dont like cleaning get white.
