Blue screen - Emergency update

Hi. Suddenly had my screen go blue in golf mk7.5 today. Message Emergency Update. Searching for update - no update found - message

Can hold the power button for 15 secs - it resets the unit but 5 mins later goes blue again. Tried to look online etc but can’t find a solution. Anyone has this before ? How did you sort it?

Do you have a memory stick/card or CD/DVD inserted? Any cables connected?

What were you doing right before you got that message?

Just driving along and then bang on it came. Can reset the unit but 5 mins later happens again. Been into dealer today and shown them. They hadn’t seen it before so it’s booked in. Right pain in the backside. I think it needs a software update. We shall see.
