I love looking at cars for sale since there’s so many interesting and sometimes affordable cars to be owned these days. The one that sparked the thread is this V10 swapped A6 Avant. I’ve been wanting to swap my wife’s Allroad drivetrain for quite some time but not until I win the lotto. I love that braver (and possibly wealthier) people actually do what I can only fantasize doing.

$20k seems like a pretty great price. Seems like most car pricing has gotten much more reasonable. Some amazing deals on C&B.

Probably not popular opinion, but since I'm planning for my next vehicle to be a truck for motocross duty, I've been on the lookout for the more street-focused X-Runner.

I watched this one go the other day. I like it even if I’d never own one. I own a 2nd gen Taco and it’s so analog. I love it. Of course it sits almost all the time since it’s bad on gas and I don’t need it all that often. Interesting to see how fast things have changed over the past 10-15 years.

We saw a Smart on the way to work yesterday. The person was absolutely crammed in there and it just seems so dangerous if you got into an accident at anything over 20 mph haha.

I was tracking it for no real reason. Then when I saw the final bid today, was shocked

Yeah the Smartfor2 is def not safe but thought it would be perfect to run errands, etc. I saw one on the fwy once and I was impressed at the risk the driver was taking. Still, they look like fun and probably safer than a motorcycle…barely. My wife suggested that I might get another motorcycle so now I guess my mind is looking at risky transportation, lol.
