Makes me glad as hell I jumped on mine when I did. I was going to wait for July of 2021 to put a fat down payment down and get a brand new GTI, I think I would've wound up buying a Rabbit edition because I wanted White Silver Metallic, plaid seats, and the 6 speed -- but ~24k OTD for my 2019 S with 95% of what I wanted (just didn't have the fancy lights) was a hard deal to pass up.

I wanted a GTI from when I was 14 or so, and man am I glad to have it now.

It's tempting to sell one of the other cars while values are sky-high, but I wouldn't be able to replace them with anything enjoyable.

Can confirm. Reupped in Iraq for $15k lump sum, tax free. Blew it in 19 days of R&R. To this day, ZERO regrets.
