IIRC, he didn't have seat belts properly routed either, which contributed.The device was there:

FixedI don't drive a manual because a DSG is faster in a straight line with an untrained manual driver. I won't even get into track driving where the computer is stupid and shifts at the wrong time costing precious seconds, then obviously a manual is ideal...
You can operate the gas and brakes at the same time with one leg.You need 3 legs for 3 pedals, not everyone qualifies

I can put my car in M mode and it's the same thing as a manual but still shifts faster.

which is everything lol. i dont wanna deal with it at all in normal ass driving.
