Decent External Hard Drive?

I'm needing a good external hard drive for under $100 that's good quality. Not sure if going for the most gigs for the money is the smartest move over a quality product with fewer gigs.

Anyone have any suggestions? There's lots of different brands out there, but I have no idea which one's are the best.

Any tips on this? Thanks!

I have a LaCie.

Had it for...I think about 3/4 years now, 250GB, haven't had a problem with it.

Although I have thought of upgrading to a Western Digital MyBook or something, just because they're so cheap now, and I do need more space

I'd recommend LaCie or Westen Digital Mybook, or hell, just build your own.

But the enclosure for $30~, and then buy yourself a HD for like $70.

Probably get more storage that way for cheaper than you would if you just bought one off the shelf
