i think the conversation about ACA is way off base here, no matter how interesting.

The shutdown has nothing to do with ACA. ACA is law. Those that made it law won the last election and control the Senate and the White House. Like it or not it is here to stay until 2016.

The shutdown has everything to do with 2014 and the tea party looking for vulnerable centrist republicans who they can run primary candidates against. It is 100% political and has 0 to do with ACA/Obamacare/America. Its all about THEM.

I am taking my parents on a road trip in a couple of weeks down to Great Smokey Mountain area and then driving up BRP to DC to visit my aunt. I think BRP will be open but the National park in the mountain won't. And my plan was go to do the Smithsonians again too since I haven't been there in ages.

Maybe I should just go to the Capitol building and throw rocks instead....lol
