Design question...

I need to make a new decal, design, emblem or whatever for my car club and was wondering what program would be the best for doing such...

an example of what type of work I want (thanks to EuroCrew)....

well yeah. but damn i'm not good at that at all. thought there might be an easier way.

and i should be more specific. i'm not worried about the picture itself. i'm wanting something like the emblem on the bottom right.

ya photoshop is what you would use to make something like the picture you posted. to do more cartoon/vector/tyopgraphy work then i would use illustrator.

I would use Illustrator, since its a vector file you can resize your logo/decal/emblem its much easier for the print shop. Then just add it to your photoshop image. .

Or you can design one without using illustrator and then give this a try...
