Do you have 166x software on the infotainment system?
If its a My21 built before week 48/2020 and you have the Discovery Media then it’s not possible to view the VW maps on the dashboard.
But get the 16xx to 1896 update and you will get that option plus AA wireless.

Your dealer will not be offering you a software update unless you have a problem. I had a pinging messages issue which they sorted without a update. Then I had ACC problem and they updated software from 1668 to 1896. Now the Travel Assist doesn’t work …
