Ready to race!
With a track record of success and two GIAC calibrated VAG based 2.0T cars, E-51 Car Studio of Taiwan took first place in both the VAG and "Super Car" Classes of the Option Cup. E-51's entry into the GT class was a KTM X-Bow powered by a VW 2.0T FSI engine and GIAC software and competed amongst an assortment of Porsches, Lamborghinis and Lotuses. The X-bow was able to best the next fastest Super Car by over a half second with a best time of 1:54:536. The Audi S3 that E-51 prepared for the VAG class, was equipped with the GIAC Extreme calibration and necessary supporting hardware (I will update this with an exact list shortly) supplied and installed by E51. The GIAC/E51 S3 won its class as well with a fastest lap of 2:00:71, beating the next fastest car by nearly six seconds,. The race took place at Penbay International Circuit, Da Peng Bay, Pingtung County, Taiwan. Congratulations to E-51 and their continued success at the track!
With the recent competitive success of our race gas calibrations on 2.0T platforms, both down the strip and on the track, we would like to offer a promotion to give our customers a chance to join in on the fun. GIAC will be offering pump, "stock," and race programs, with a handheld program switcher for $600.00 on all 2.0T platforms from now until Monday, April 30th, 2012.
