Experiencing creaking noise from clutch

I have noticed a creaking noise when I let out the clutch, specifically on an incline. For context I have a 2016 gti with 60,000 miles, and I recently upgraded the clutch to a DKM twin disk around 2200 miles ago. I thought the noise could be coming from the clutch/trans but I noticed a torn inner CV boot and just replaced that because I read from some other posts that it can cause a creaking noise. Unfortunately replacing the boot and changing the grease did not get rid of the noise, and it appears to be coming from the shifter. Has anyone dealt with this or know what the issue might be? I have some videos of the noise but I am not sure what the best way to attach them is.

And it's definitely NOT the pedal? I had squeaky/creaky clutch pedals in just about every car I've ever had. Annoying but some 3 in 1 oil or WD40 helped.
