Factory oem aero / body kit (votex kit)

I like the kit alot but the changes aren't that radical so wouldn't it work out cheaper to just get the std stuff painted?

Here's a relatively cheap way to get a similar look to the Votex kit. This guy just painted the stock lowers. personally I'd add the Votex front lip, skip the paint on the center grill and also leave the middle of the rear black for some contrast but I like his basic idea. Would probably cost $800-1000 to do it the way I suggested...not bad for a very subtle complete "kit".

Now add $500-800 for paint. Call it $2k once all is said and done. I'm looking at $800-$1k including paint so it's $1k less expensive...that's tint, springs and chip! Not worth the extra cash to me for something that looks so similar to painting the factory parts and adding the lip. Don't get me wrong, I like the Votex kit a lot.

dude I did a PS with your car and the wheels I like, cause I couldn't find another mk5 gti in white and with the votex (like mine) anywhere else. what springs are those and I'll love to see your car personally since I'm in south florida? how much you paid for the drop... I want to go low some time soon but considering coils....your car looks very damn clean with the tints... I guess there will be two of us down here looking similar...

In a dark color that Abt looks pretty sweet, On red I gotta stick with my Rieger, but for a dark color car, i'd probably go with that Abt lip.. Tho when the GTI oettinger kit comes out, that will own them all, heh.

The kit should be out now to purchase.

it sucks though, cause even if there was a badgless grill, wed still have to fix the hood and get rid of the cutout.
