Tesla seems to have a full auto-pilot sorted on their cars. Why is simple braking such a difficult task for VW?

Well, I have to say I am a big fan. It has worked flawlessly on both my Golfs and I use it a lot. On regular 450 mile journeys I have found that I am far less fatigued when using it - especially when the weather is poor and I extend the range to max. I would not buy another car without it. That said I would never use it in town.
