The reason it was one ebay was because the person realized it was awful and that they wanted to restore the car to its factory beauty.
As for the racing stripes, I will agree that it should be left for muscle cars and people who feel there cars are "the sh*t." I've seen a few tegs with them and they just look awful.
NOW, as for a few PS jobs that have been done on this site of R32 designs, striped on the side of the body would look great especially the thick then thin strip combo right above the side skirt, that I am a fun of.
Again to each his own. Its your car, just be prepared to be flamed for it.
