Thoughts on the new Ruger PC Carbine?

I dig it, and have added it to 2018's "must haves"

Like it a lot.

Wish it was out before I put $800 into an AR9 which I'm still trying to troubleshoot.

If it doesn't work reliably I'll sell it and grab the Ruger.

It looks so fun :)

The take-down is what sold me on it.

Ruger obviously hired some sharp design and marketing folks a few years back, because they’ve come out with some home runs the last few years.

Thanks all for the guidance... a friend also suggested Savage Arms Stevens 320 Pump which is nice and low cost.. will think about it some more..

With regard to Ruger, they are an excellent company. When i first got my P95DC it kept jamming after every 2-3 shots. I called their customer service and the guy quickly said that they they are Ruger and will make it right for me and without cost (other than some downtime) fixed it and had it back. no issues since then. it was a great experience and I know that if i ever have a future issue that they fully stand behind their products.

This is a genuine question but why do you feel the need to drive around with that in the trunk? Is it for protection?

I only ask as we obviously can't buy anything like that on this side of the pond.

You'd be surprised how many people have AR15's in the trunk. I know many. Watch the Rodney King riot videos of the truck driver dragged out and beaten with a brick and you would consider it too. Until the police are allowed to arrest these road-blocking protesters, you should arm yourself too.

Had a lunch meeting at the range.
Shot a Springfield XD9...it was ok.
Shot a Glock 19....that was better.
Shot a Taurus .40 (not sure of the model)...didn't like that.
Shot a M&P bodyguard .380...it was interesting.
Shot a Walther P22 and that thing was a freakin' blast! (no pun intended)

Can the same be said about some of the bigger Walther guns?
It felt good in the hands (although it was basically a BB gun in comparison) but I think the sights were off a bit. My grouping was good but aim was off.
I still don't really know what I want, the search continues...

The Walthers have amazing triggers.

Next one for you to check out is the VP9, great trigger also.

I'm a Glock guy, but the VP9 is a nice pistol.

16rds. of 12ga in a bullpup semi auto....
Sounds like fun to me
The length is my biggest gripe concerning my Saiga 12.

This gun looks like a lot of fun.
