help with keyless entry mk8

hi guys

im new here and new to the golf world,
i have brought a 20 plate mk 8 golf with only 4000 miles. the car arrived today and im trying to find out if my car has keyless entry?.

i thought all mk8 golfs had keyless as standard but i seem to only be able to open the car via the buttons on the remote. are all mk 8s keyless as standard ? am i missing something i know the keyless function can be turned off but if it is how do i turn it back on please,

Keyless start is standard, not keyless entry. Could be wrong though, but I'm pretty sure.

Should be if you go to "vehicle" and then proceed to the lock-settings. There you can disable/enable it.

Just need to enter your registration number or VIN and you can at least read the manual although I don’t think it lets you download a copy.

You can see under equipment what options your car has,Keyless entry was an option.

OP @sut is in the UK. We don‘t get S, SE and Autobahn trim levels on the GTI in the UK.
