So how do you fix it without cutting like the dude in the other thread did?

Cutting is only required if you don't remove the transmission. If you're replacing the clutch you'll have access to the bolts so no cutting is needed.

So I could have a shop do this when I have the clutch replaced?

In theory yes, but you'd have to send the main bearing cap in (in a thread somewhere is info on it) to be machined for the new thrust washer set.

Quick update on the parts that I had ordered.

These still have the markings on them. Got 3 of them for ~$56 shipped. We’ll see if they work.
