Proof of life after kids.. I have my son the moment i get home (1pm) until his bedtime tonight. (7pm). Wife working late until 9pm because daycare is closed this week. All that being said, I will be installing/reviewing my SPM downpipe during that timeframe. No, I won't just leave him alone for 2 hours.. there are ways of doing things.

I think one of the biggest problems with deciding to be childfree is the reaction of friends and family.

It's been stated, and I've also been subjected to the "oh you'll change your mind" or "you're too immature still you'll grow up eventually", or "what's wrong with you??? children are such a blessing!!!"

Arguing with these people who ask these questions and make you feel like something is wrong with you is pointless, kinda like arguing with someone about creationism vs. darwinism. They will not take any answers you give them as your valid opinion and there must be something wrong with you for not agreeing with them.

Eventually I just started telling people that I had the vasectomy. That usually ends that conversation.

My dad was the oldest of 10 and my mom was the youngest of 5. I guess to them having kids was a no-brainer.

I'm the oldest of 2 and I guess diapers, markers on the wall, and worrying about them all the time just ain't for me. /shrug
