Sorry for pulling up an old thread guys.

Just picked up a 2009 Pirelli edition for the missus and have been wondering where you are all buying your parts these days.

I'd like to get a set of LED lights for the rear, doing the fog/reverse light change is pretty easy, did it to my own GTI back in 2008. Oh how I miss that car.

I forgot about that - because your inners are on the same circuit as the middle circle on the outer lights.. Sorry to hear that mate.

Well to wire the inners to parkers all you'd need to do is cut the positive wires at your outers' plugs and crimp them to position 3 instead of 2 (or the other way around on the right side). Up to you which look you prefer but the switch itself shouldn't be hard.

I wanted to know how to wire my inner led valeo tail lights to the outers to have park and brake without faults on the dash.
I understand that you have to wire the inner lights to the parkers and brake and switch that pin to the parkers pin position to have the inner lights work on parkers and brake. (Quad lights skyline effect)
What do I do with the brake pin I removed?
Is this the correct process?
Could you guys help what to do on vcds to clear faults and anything I'm missing please :thumbup:

Do you have LEDs in the inners? They don't come from the factory with LEDs in place. They have to be modded. Wiring into the car is the easy bit.
