Ford is set to drop the Focus RS soon, and if anyone has seen the video of the Focus ST versus the 30th Edition GTI, you know that the GTI had trouble losing the Stock ST. The RS will have track tuned suspension, the option for a getrag twin-clutch auto, and a lsd.

This generations won't but the MK3 will. But the Ed 30 isn't stateside either, so it seems we are getting shafted by both VW and Ford, but Ford is coming around to bringing pretty much their entire European platform to the states by 2012.
