This is not my first manual car; drove a manual for ten years previously. For some reason its hard to make a smooth transition from first to second. Either the car stutters or simply stalls. I have been doing some research and have found that earlier Gti marks have had the same issue in the past. I dont know if this is due to releasing the clutch too early or not giving the car enough gas at the start. I never had this problem with my previous manual. Any folks out there experiencing this problem?
