Hi, new to golf ownership as previous car was 22 yo and low on tech.
Advise please, even with the start/stop turned off when I slow down say approaching traffic lights my engine cuts then re starts so from reading the car manual the DSG has a coasting feature so regardless that the start/stop is turned of as I slow down the rev counter drops to zero then the engine re start again and it does this in eco mode and normal mode.
Also it doesn’t matter if I’m in eco, normal or sport mode the centre display on the dash always has the eco symbol which doesn’t make sense. Can anyone shed some light on this please?
