Mk 8 whirring noise

Hi have a 2021 manual 150 MK 8 Golf bought from Citygate. It has a whirring noise when accelerate and decelerate in 1st. I am told it is a normal noise with the Mk8 they hear on all and not an issue/gear box related. Has anyone else experienced this as they say it is something all Mk 8's have? Thanks

I’ve got a manual 150 MK 8 Golf R line and it doesn’t make a whirring noise at all.

Take it to a different dealer for a second opinion.
