Thought I post some part numbers from a MK8 Golf R DSG .... the front hubs have a little more camber, stiffer sway bar and RS3 control arms. The rear uses stiffer bushings and a bigger sway bar.

Should be the S3 lower control arm, not the RS3. The RS3 shares the same arm as the TTS/TTRS which are aluminum with greater track width and sliding BJ's.

Does anyone know if the MK8's larger brakes fit under 18" wheels? May be a factory upgrade...

mk8 floating caliper might still be inferior to macan/megane fixed brembos at similar price point new

curious about the knuckles, have a pair of alu lower control arms waiting to go on, maybe worth pairing with these if they'll bolt up...

Part number of brake MC? Wondering if they use a larger one.

Also @yakev724 , got a part number for that megane brake? I wonder if they use seals that don't pull back so far or different piston sizing...

more info in this thread

These require brackets (freakyparts.co.uk sells them), lines (custom made by HEL for example), 7mm spacers to clear stock wheels.
I believe the Megane shares the MC despite these being 4-pot, the piston surface area isn't too different.

Generally much more of a headache than the more common OEM+ upgrades.

OP, great info! I take it the brakes you listed are the "standard" MK8 brakes? I think there are optional 15" Euro performance brakes we probably won't get in the U.S.?

Can I figure the front calipers and rotors will fit under the stock 19" R wheels?

I never hear of anyone needing to change any hardware or ECU settings to accommodate larger front brakes to balance the front to rear bias. Is that totally unnecessary with the improvements in technology?

The brakes listed are the 2 piston calipers with 357mm rotors. Yes they will fit under your 19” R wheels without a spacer.
