Mobile Phone Connection Issue

There is a service campaign recall 91BU for th OCU unit (telematic/SOS) where a software update is applied and if any error occurs then the unit gets replaced…
My weconnect globe on the infotainment has been gray since friday and the Weconnect team have sent a note to my local dealer for the update even though on VW system my vin had no such recall. So tomorrow its going in for the update…

You need to have the steering wheel replaced to fix the travel assist faults, I've just had mine done it's also had recall work done and 2 different control modules replaced only had it back 24hrs so too early to tell if they've fixed it this time it's their second attempt the
car's been at the dealers a total of 7 weeks up to now with a hire car supplied by VW UK.

After nearly 2 years there is now an update to fix the phone not connecting in the mark 8 golf style.

had mine updated last week and now connects every time.
