This doesn't halp anyone that already has their GTI but you can now order the Votex kit painted and installed from the factory...according to my dealer.

The difference in color gives the optical illusion that the car is slimmer.

Dn't know how much it costs...could be more than just the parts to account for the paint though.

i had the "black bits" painted as soon as i got the car for 1500sr (about 400$)
and the car looks much much nicer.but just my luck 1 week after it was done a YUKON rams in to the back of me and totally recks the back end. so i've actually had the black bits done twice.
