New to the forums and VW ownership. I recently totaled an '05 Toyota 4Runner in a weather related accident. I loved that thing and had wanted one for years. after Looking around for something fun and practical I stumbled across this. Figured it would suit my needs for hauling stuff, dogs, and people. It's an '09 GTI, picked it up with 104k miles for a little under $9.5K. It's incredibly well maintained by a one of the best VW dealers in East TN. I'm not new to Euros or tuning just to VW's. I don't baby my cars, I use them everyday for odds and ends and commuting. Stock for now, but won't stay that way for long. It's quick but could always be faster and lower. Getting some great ideas from everyone here and I hope to learn more about GTI ownership. First thing... window tint. It's like driving a fish bowl.
