YAY!!
At least they'll be able to let you know for sure so you can find the right treatment and possibly avoid it in the future.
^ this'th

I went to the dentist they fit me in today... He gave me a prescription and sent me with a referral to a Endodontic Specialist as he said the testing they did there was inconclusive... he thinks i need a root canal but the typical symptoms are opposite what they should be... I dont have any pain when he taps on the tooth/teeth. only a slight cold sensitivity and the fact that chewing and cold liquids made it feel better was opposite of the usual... usually cold is bat shit crazy and chewing hurts.. but he said when the nerves die they can do some pretty funny things.

So im going to see the specialist tomorrow they (my dentist) was able to get them to fit me in tomorrow so i wouldn't have to wait a long time. So hopefully they can figure it out and they said if i needed a root canal they would be able to accommodate that tomorrow as well.

So we shall see. Now that i get back home i really do think i need a root canal the pain has changed from a general linger all around my left side to just the bottom and a deep pressure pain like someone is pulling/pushing on the tooth.

so i really hope this is fixed or at least have a game plan for tomorrow. This hydrocodone/acetaminophen isnt really helping that much. (ive never had luck with hydrocodone for pain relief)

When i had a drysocket after having my wisdom teeth removed the hydrocodone did nothing but they also gave me like 800mg of ibuprofen and that shit worked better than hydrocodone. Although the greatest gift to life was the weird gauze wrap of clove and other oils that they shoved into the socket... worst pain of my life when they shoved it in.. but man did that clove oil and whatever else the wrap was soaked it made all the pain go away in like 5 minutes. It felt amazing.

Well theres my novel for today ;]

I will post my Halloween costume if others post theirs. This is not a Roxie picture thread.

Watched the Suicide Squad trailer again.
I'm actually pretty excited for that movie, despite not being a HUGE Batman fan. Should be interesting.

Kinda makes me wonder if I could fit into my Harley Quinn costume from 2 years ago. I was too small before, but maybe I can make it work this Halloween with all of my gainz.

you know that you have a panel of judges ready to let you know... right? :yikes:

Aren't you glad you went now? Although, a root canal is going to suck if that's what they end up having to do. I've never had one, but several people I know have, and I've never heard good things about it.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, I do. I got hella sick last night though from allergies, so I didn't try it on lol eye was super swollen and everything.

see title

Ive had a root canal done before. It was nothing really. The biggest "issue" is the noise. You can hear them sawing back and forth and you know its your gums that they are cutting. Its quite disgusting sounding although i didn't feel a peep.

Well my appointment is at 11:30 and i defiantly think i need a root canal. Last night after leaving the dentist my tooth started acting exactly like the dentist described how a dieing root should feel. That or my mouth is really good at playing games.

But ive got intense pressure on the tooth like someone is pushing against it with a lot of force. And shutting my mouth fully where the teeth touch is painful on that tooth. And there is no more chewing food.

Its like my tooth heard my dentist confusion and decided to start "acting normal" (for a dying root).

The only thing is i hope they will actually do a root canal today, on my little referal slip they only wrote Evaluation 18,19 because at the time they couldn't figure out which tooth was causing the issues. (which i now know which one). Its my vary back bottom left side of face.

So guys you like hearing about the amazeballs details of my dental visits? If so i can go on.
