^Dude, that's awesome. I wonder if they're still available for purchase...

C'mon. I'm sure they say, "would've" but they sure as shit don't say, "would of". Besides, we write differently than we speak, at least we should, especially if we go to prep school. ;)

#yesi'mpedantic

I'll work on it FAP. ;)

2002 Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner

It was a great vehicle and it got me started with the "mod bug". Lifted, A/T tires etc. I would recommend one to anybody. Had a 190k on it when I gave it up

86 Chevy Malibu: White car in Miami, Baller! Slow & ghetto as Feck!

85 Ford Thunderbird: Have no words to describe how unreliable this thing was

90 Mazda 626: Great car, never broke & fast at the time.

89 Toyota Celica : Always loved those models with the lights up, wish I could buy an Alltrac

93 Nissan sentra SE: Called Herbie, red on black hood, JDM fake dreams!

92 Mercedes Benz 190E: Loved it.

87 MB 190 16valve Cosworth. Future classic, wanted to swap a 5.5 Kompressor in it. Want another one again.

93 Infiniti G20: undercover Sentra SE-R, in higher trim interior. Reliable as Funk! 110 in 3rd gear.

2002 Ford Taurus: great car, horrific exterior.

2000 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor: TQ, TQ, TQ, TQ. I wish it could have come manual.

92 Volswagen Corrado SLC: By miles, the one I like the most & most expensive to fix. It's like having Victoria Secret's Model girlfriend with a huge Cocaine addition that you happen to sponsor & your friends don't get why you’re with her! Loved it to death, nothing more Vdub & eye catchy than that car!

Pay attention to my list, and remember this whenever you see me discussing the DSGs and you want to lecture me on the coolness of the manual. LOL

1979 Honda Accord 2Dr Hatch 5MT - First car, did NOT get me much action with the ladies. Not sure if it was the faded blue metallic paint, or the shag pile maroon seat covers. Great car while I had it, got totalled 6 months in when a drunk pulled out in front of me and I t-boned him into next week. The Accord drove itself into a nearby parking lot, the 80s Dodge Colt had to be collected and removed from the road by a flatbed.

1994 Toyota Pickup 2WD 5MT - Replaced the Honda, stepping up in life. Still no lady action, thing was blue with gray splashes and freaking pink stripe lines (California edition LOL). Picked it up at a Credit Union auction, sister took it with her to college and had for years.

1986 Mercury Capri 5MT - Got this when my sister got the Toyota, first car with my own money. Had it for a day. The day after I bought it pulled it in the garage to change the oil to get a fresh start it blew all kinds of gaskets and seals, dumped the oil pan on the floor and lost compression. The seller agreed to cancel the sale, even though he said he could fix it and get it back to me. I said no way and ran the other way with my money.

1986 Ford Escort EXP 5MT - Dear god what is wrong with me? Got this after the Capri debacle and because my mom wouldn't let me buy a 85 Scirocco, said they were too unreliable. Had this one almost a year, (did actually get some action in it LOL) then the rings in cylinder 4 went out. Dumped 60 weight in it and drove it as a 3 cylinder (every now and again the rings would seat with the oil and it would take off like an afterburner LOL). Lost this one to a fire. Had to change the oil every month, thick crap, and needed to use Engine Cleanser to un-goop the stuff enough to come out the drainhole. Did an oil change late one night after dropping a buddy off, figured hot oil would come out better. Plugged that bottle of engine Cleanser on the crankcase and turned around to get something.......when the bottle got half empty it started gluging and popped itself off the crankcase. Engine Cleanser was 99% kerosene.......guess what happens when it hits an exhaust manifold? Got a new garage out of that too, and Mom met some neighbors....LOL

Here we go, now into the NOT crap....

1969 Chevy Camaro 4MT - Original L6 column shift auto, guy had put a rebuilt '78 Corvette V8 with a 4-speed in it. Loved this car, daily'd it forever, until the cops made me stop. Wouldn't pass smog. Big lopey cam in it, probably barely had 300HP but it was loud and fast. I had this car 17 years until I finally had to realize I wasn't going to be able to fix it up right and sold it to help fund my move out of Nazi-CA.

1964 Dodge Polara Pushbutton Auto - Bought this off a buddy for $1, was smoking and couldn't stop. Did an oil change, replaced front drums and shoes and a rebuilt master cylinder and ran great. Ended up donating it to a charity for a tax write off as I didn't have a place to store it.

1998 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4 AT - Overall good, bare bones model with cruise and power windows being only real options, had no carpet even, first car I ever bought brand new. Miserable at towing with the basic 350 small block, had wheel bearing and seal issues in the rear axle, but overall solid.

2000 Chevy Camaro V6 5MT - Had the SS bodykit and spoiler on it, felt faster than it was, but no real issues.

1998 Chevy Cavalier AT - Commuter, what can I say. I bought it salvaged from a russian, everything was good except no airbags replaced. Young and stupid, didn't care. Got rearended in stop and go, had a shop I did business with fix it. A year later got rearended again, found out the last repair was NOT right (they used body filler on the frame rails!!!), State Farm totalled the car, gave me full value and tried to go after the shop but they were, surprise, out of business. LOL

2003 Chevy Silverado K2500 Duramax 4x4 AT - This mother TOWED. 7000 lb load on the back and cruising 65 on the highway at 18MPG, smooth as silk, couldn't even tell it was back there LOL

1979 Chevy Blazer 4x4 4MT - This was a fun off roader, got it for $900 with a clutch recently installed. Had the rare gear driven transfer case with a granny low. This beast was ugly as sin (Called it the Mule) but my $900 rig with a cheap 3" lift hung out with the built Jeeps with lockers no issues. Couldn't pass smog either, even with a new cat and carb rebuild, ignition redo, ect. CA demanded the factory 1979 timing was used, ran like shit and polluted like a mother, advance the timing up and she ran great....but they wouldn't allow logic. Sold it for $800 after about 4 years.

2002 Chevy Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition 1LE 6MT - Ordered this custom, added SLP options. Loved the car, kept it clean and low miles, sold it in 2013 with barely 21k on the clock for a massive loss.

2008 Dodge Charger Super Bee #14 or 22 or something AT - Fun for a while, joy of the noise it made quickly faded after living with the interior and miserable slushbox. Traded this one in for the GTI with barely mileage into the teens. Best trade I ever made, GTI is way more fun to drive in the twisties.

1983 Porsche 944 5MT - Fun as heck to drive, picked it up cheap with a recently replaced used engine (and got the original engine as well). Had to do the timing belt as soon as we bought it since we had no idea when the used one had it done and the guy hadn't done it when he had the engine out  that was $2100, so maybe not so cheap. Been fine since, although it's been parked for the last 3 years as it needs the entire AC system replaced. Only one belt, so if the compressor locks up, it's bad.

2009 VW Jetta TDI 6MT - Great car, my first branch out of the 'Merican cars, needed a real distance commuter for the wife and I knew it had to be a diesel. Was not expecting much, figured slow and basic car just for commutes. Testdrove it and was amazed at the quickness, torque, and handling. Put 97k miles on this car in 3 years, did the 3 free services with the dealer, then did all other services with an independent VW trained shop. Never a single issue with this car. Had to replace the rear brake pads around 40k, which I realize now was because we never took the ESP off and I would hammer it around corners.

2012 VW GTI 6MT - Still have it today, just under 18k miles, had a ripped CV boot, and the headlights "lost" their coding once according to the tech, other than that it's been flawless, heavily modded.

2012 VW Jetta TDI DSG - This replaced the 09 Jetta TDI, put 63k miles on it and just traded it in last month. Had a leaky DSG pan gasket at around 55k, covered under extended warranty, no other issues, ran like a champ, regularly got 46+MPG on the highway.

2014 Audi Q5 TDI S-Tronic - Had this one 10 months, no issues at all, was a great vehicle for what it was; a big SUV thing. Didn't hate it, never loved it and when the chance opportunity presented itself, I jumped on it....

2015 Audi S4 Premium Plus S-Tronic - Traded the Q5 for this straight across. Well, not straight across, the dealer kicked in about $2100 for taxes and fees and AoA paid our first payment.......so......they paid me over $2700 to take the S4 off their lot for them. :D

2015 BMW 328d X-Drive Touring (Sport Wagon) M-Sport 8SA - Just cleared 1000 miles last weekend, tint guy damaged the door lock module and covered under warranty. No other issues and this is a FABULOUS car. I love the design and looks of the Audi's and VWs, but I love the options and features BMW rolls out. HUD, heated steering wheel, stuff you don't care about until you don't have it. LOL

I think that's it........

:clap:Thank you Griffballz. I've been trying to beat this appalling habit out of him for months now, with obviously no success.

We're done with your excuses, trevvy. You know better. :paddle:

I know you have, so I figured I would do a bit of your work for you.

It's tough when almost everyone says it in New York, even teachers...

No. They don't. They say should've and would've, not should of and would of... how hard is that to understand?

Haha, I still like the R. It's just expensive.

Here is the geet:

^the strap is a seat-belt lol

It's a playable guitar with a built in pre-amp with 4 built in effects.

That's sort of cool. I'd take one.

Pay attention to my list, and remember this whenever you see me discussing the DSGs and you want to lecture me on the coolness of the manual. LOL

You drive an automatic, you pussy??

2003 Neon sxt blue , 2.0 4 cylinder automatic - Fun little car, a lot of great dumb memories. Can always floor it everywhere and still be within the speed limits.

2005 Neon SRT4 ACR Black - A (FWD)driving enthusiasts dream car. RAW power, torque steer everywhere, nimble, fast as fuck, sounded amazing. I was too scared of it to really open it up and a lot of problems down the road from having higher miles pushed me out of it.

2014 VW GTI - Comfortable, relatively quick. Boring styling, hate owning white as it's not aggressive at all, this thing can carve up some corners though. Miss having a sunroof.

I'm taking my parts off tomorrow and getting a quote on my GTI, I'm okay with a loss at this point. This car just isn't the right fit for me, it's a great car and I can see the appeal but it's not for me honestly. I'm looking at Mazdaspeed3's and also looking at SRT4s again as well. /shrug
