Just a thought, but maybe acting could be considered an honorable service?
Think about the inspiration an actor can give a person, just by conveying emotion. It's possible for an actor to inspire people to do good for the world. (e.g. James Cameron's "Avatar" and its undertones about saving our environment.) You wouldn't consider that an "honorable service"?
