Might buy a mark 2 Gti vr6 swapped.
Car has been fully restored beautiful car, has cams,lowered full exhaust, pretty much every bolt and he's lettinf it go for 4400 is it a good deal?

have the chains and guides been done? crake pipe replaced with billet?

also, its a swapped car. it will be a hoot...but it wont be reliable for awhile.

if maintenance is good and no rust, decent price.

Check the mk2 classifieds on vortex to see what others are selling them for. If I were you I'd buy a stock one for real cheap and build it the way I want. But this one does seem legit if you want a mk2. You could probably get an unmolested stock mk4 for the same price or even cheaper.
