i listened to GWAR once or twice in my life..

**UPDATE**: GWAR's manager, Jack Flanagan, has released the following statement:

"It is with a saddened heart that I confirm my dear friend Dave Brockie, artist, musician, and lead singer of GWAR, passed away at approximately 6:50 p.m. EST Sunday, March 23, 2014. His body was found Sunday by his bandmate at his home in Richmond, Virginia. Richmond authorities have confirmed his death and next of kin has been notified. A full autopsy will be performed. He was 50 years old, born August 30, 1963.

Ready to race!
I saw GWAR once at City Gardens in Trenton back in the late 80's... what a circus. I left the show covered in "blood", but I'm not complaining. That's kinda why you go to see a GWAR show.

I saw them in August, they were the headliners for this is hardcore. It was interesting to say the least...never quite saw a show like that. They're not bad musicians either. One of a kind, RIP.
