Radio Station Logos

Hi all,

Does anyone know how station logos work.
Some stations have a logo but most don't and some station logos are outdated. In the Golf Mk7 which I used to own you could update these yourself using a SD card and installing the but the Mk8 don't seem to have this facility to do it manually.

It's not really a big issue it just would be nice to have all the station Logos working.

Any help would be much appreciated

It seems that you can only use the preinstalled logos available.
This is from the manual:

Station logos may be pre-installed for some frequency bands in the Infotainment system.
The station logos will be assigned to the stations automatically if Autoselect station lo gos is activated in the settings.
In Internet Radio mode, the Infotainment system accesses station logos from an online database and automatically assigns them to the stations.
Manually assigning station logos:
Touch

Then Radio - Station Logos
Select the station to which you wish to assign a station logo. Select station logo.
Repeat the process for further stations if desired.
End assignment of station logos.
