I spent some time kicking the tires on one at the VW dealer in Beijing. Its pretty cool but too small inside for me.

They can leave the wheel gap overseas.

Honestly I like the looks of the GTi more, overall. The Scirocco doesn't have the attention to detail that the GTi has. Although I think the Scirocco would look sick lowered, maybe even slammed. And I hate slammed cars.

I'm gonna say the base model, I've watched a few video reviews of it. Seems kinda bare comparatively.
