Hi all, I've had the Style 1.5tsi 130 for a year now (Sep 2020 model) and I'm experiencing power steering issues. Was wondering if I'm alone? (obviously the dealer - Marshall- says nothing's wrong...computer shows no faults)
It stiffens up after a few minutes of driving and doesn't return to the light mode when slow (or not as much as expected).
To the point it's rather uncomfortable steering with one hand when changing gears on a bend at 15-30mph. It's not permanent though but bad spells last for days.
Weird thing is when the car is not driven for several days then the steering is always nice and light for a couple of days once you start. Confirmed on 4 consecutive occasions of week long pauses. It then gets worse with time. Very annoying.
/BTW I'm past all the computer shambles. After dealer's upgrade and OTA upgrades the system seems to be stable./
