I have an S21+ and live in an urban area. Reception indoors still hit or miss for me.

Building material can affect reception. There's this sushi restaurant in town where I get no reception. Soon as I walk outside...full bars.

If you have a 5G phone and are near a 5G high band tower the signal doesn't penetrate walls very well. If it wasn't 5G it could just be the building materials.
