Have there been any conversions dropping the 2.5 into a golf? Seen the 3.6 of the R36 dropped in, so someone knows how to fiddle the electronics, but have not seen anyone do the 2.5...at least yet

I would love to really see a Golf RS being build with the 2.5 TT RS engine in it

I'm pretty sure the mk 7 will see this model come to life. Several people at VW that I've spoken to about it seem optimistic.

I haven't seen this happen yet, perhaps the engine really can't fit the bay - but if the 3.2L can then I don't see what the problem is. It fits nicely in the current A3.

I would totally buy it cause you get the practicality of the Golf combined with the power of the ttrs engine while not looking that powerful from the outside
