Rocking a T3i here with the stock 18-55 mm lens and a 55 Plastic Fantastic prime. I have 2 16gb SD cards at the moment that serve me wal, but I would like to get at least one extra battery.

As far as lenses go, i'd really like to get a 250mm+ at some point, as well as a wide angle and eventually a 35mm prime. I love my 55, but damn that sucker is zoomed in too far.

Dude check out Canons new 24mm F2.8 STM prime lens. Its a bargain at $150.

The 24mm is definitely my next purchase.

And if you want a wide angle, check out Sigma's 10-20. I love mine

I have been looking at sigma lenses as well, seem to be the best value out there

I want to stay under $300

For the best "value" tripods, Dolica does a great job.

For a higher end tripod, you can't go wrong with Manfrotto. I have a carbon fiber tripod from them that is ultra-light and has held up well through the years.
