I like the idea of the different users on the car and how it will tailor various settings to specific users, such as seat position, dashboard dials, lighting choices, HUD position etc. Both my Wife and I have iPhones and both are setup on the car. Problem is if I’m logged into my profile on the car it will sometimes pick up her phone and automatically connect it to car play instead of mine, which might have a google maps route already set up ready to go or Spotify playlist etc. What would be good is if you can assign a phone as the default to a profile, so it will always use that phone unless you manually swap it. I don’t think there is that option currently, unless I have missed it in the multitude of settings. Once it’s connected to the wrong phone, unless you turn off the wifi on the phone, it won’t let you swap when you select the CarPlay button. If it’s not a function already, any idea of how to submit it to VW to get it added as it would be a software update to introduce it?
